Instilling a passion for Swimming
Our program is designed to teach water safety skills and water confidence. Our aim is to provide an ideal learn to swim environment where swimmers can learn swimming and safety skills from professional, qualified, friendly instructors. We hope to encourage students to enjoy safe participation in water activities. We offer lessons for all ages and skill levels. The centre offers classes from 3 months to adults, all levels, ages and skills are catered for.
• 3-6 month Bubbles FREE (infant with an adult)
• 3 Levels for H20 (infant with an adult)
• 8 Levels for Learn 2 Swim
• Multiple age/standard Squad levels
INDIVIDUAL CLASSES
Individual stroke correction and learn to swim classes available.
HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Learn to swim and Squad will offer holiday intensive programs and skill clinics.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
To Enrol: book a free assessment, complete an enrolment and direct debit form (available at the Aquatic Centre).
Parents will be advised when the child has achieved the skills necessary to move up a level. When a swimmer is ready to move up a level, you will then need to book in to a new class.
Cancellations can be made with one weeks notice. If your child is absent for holiday/sickness – you will need to inform the swim school via the email or in person to book a make-up class. 24 hours notice is appreciated, however we understand this is not always possible.
If you need to cancel your class, we cannot guarantee the same spot on your return, however we will do our best.
We encourage swimmers to attend 3 lessons a week and swim all year round. This will help them improve quickly.
Three lessons a week for a year is better than one lesson a week for three years. You don’t pay for public holidays, when the centre is closed for holidays, or cancelled lessons.

PAYMENT
Lessons are paid 2 weeks blocks in advance by direct debit. Bookings are automatically rolled over every 2 weeks.
POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
1 week in advance by completing the cancellation form
Make-up Policy
- Unlimited with 24 hours notice
- If less than 24 hours notice a doctor’s certificate, or an individual written request is required
- Must be taken within 90 days of the missed lesson (if the child is enrolled)
- If cancelling lessons, all makeups must be used within 1 week of the cancellation end date
- No credits or refunds
- Make-up classes are not guaranteed and subject to availability
- Make-up classes are not transferable
- Make-up classes can be booked online, or via Reception 6 days in advance
Admittance
Fast entry: patrons are required to swipe their access card on entry. The card permits entry for patrons and the accompanying responsible person. Additional spectators admitted on request. If you do not have your card, please inform the receptionist of your name.
Class and Instructor Changes
Whilst the St Andrew’s Aquatic Centre will prioritise the stability of the classes, the class structure, pool space and instructors may need to change from time to time.
