With only 3 weeks away from opening the Pool is getting very close –

There are 2865 kilolitres of water in the pool, so the big question is, how long did it take to fill – well the answer is 8 days!!

Our Customer Service and Learn To Swim managers have been appointed and will commence on 5th August and the facility is looking great with many of the finer details being installed.

The Centre’s operating systems and programs have now been finalised and we will be taking expressions of interest for Learn to Swim lessons and squads from mid August.  These will be advertised on our Aquatic Centre website and facebook page which are soon to be released.

With the construction we now have:

• laying of pool deck (concrete) finished;
• exposed aggregate entry partially completed;
• decorative screens installed;
• external LCD scoreboard installed;
• landscaping commenced;
• pool tiling completed and starting blocks installed;
• initial locating of the boom;
• power to centre connected to College supply;
• installation of pumping and filtering equipment continuing.
